Founder
With extensive experience and education in landscape architecture, Mr. Breedlove coordinated, designed and managed thousands of multi-disciplined projects ranging from individual site design to large-scale master plans. His knowledge of site-sensitive planning and design and his awareness of protection and enhancement of our natural resources helped establish Breedlove Land Planning, Inc. as a forerunner in site-specific design, long before LEED became vogue. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Breedlove was highly involved in service to the profession of landscape architecture through his active involvement on the Georgia State Board of Landscape Architects for 18 years, serving as Chairman for the majority of those years. He also served as Regional Director for the Council of Landscape Architecture Registration Boards (CLARB), and Georgia Chapter President for the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). The ASLA inducted him as Fellow 2000.
Mr. Breedlove served on the Georgia State Legislature Technical Advisory Committee (“Dirt II”) and also served with the GASWCC as Chairman of the “TAPC” Committee, ending with a final report for natural resource protection improvement recommendations dated January 2006. Following his tenure on and with the Georgia State Board of Landscape Architects, he was recognized with a Commendation from Governor Sonny Perdue and with a Georgia State Legislature Commendation Resolution in April 2010.
